Home is more than a structure. It’s where childhood memories are made, where laughter fills the kitchen, and where life unfolds on front porches and around family tables. Choosing the right home — or preparing one for the next chapter — deserves thoughtful guidance.
My love for homes began long before real estate.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, I was raised with strong Southern roots and Christian values. My childhood was spent outdoors on our family farm — helping my grandfather in his garden, playing in open fields until dusk, and learning the beauty of hard work and simple living. Frequent visits to historic Charleston shaped my love for large porches, beautiful courtyards, timeless architecture, and classic Southern coastal charm. Those early memories still influence how I see and appreciate homes today.
After moving to Collegedale and earning my BBA in Marketing from Southern Adventist University, I stepped into real estate at just 20 years old. What began as a career quickly became a calling.
Over the past 28 years, I’ve pursued education, professional designations, and ongoing training — always striving to better serve my clients. Yet some of the greatest wisdom I’ve gained has come from mentors and seasoned agents who generously shared their knowledge. Their guidance helped shape not only my skillset, but my perspective.
With time and experience, I’ve learned that simplicity is powerful. Homes with beautiful lines, thoughtful details, meaningful spaces, and timeless design are what truly endure. But more than that, it’s the families inside those homes that matter most.
Helping a family find the place where they will raise children, host holidays, play in the yard, and build lifelong memories — that is where I find my greatest joy.
Today, as a mother of three beautiful girls — Atlanta, Ellison, and Carolina — I understand more than ever how important home truly is.
